The Quik Shade Go Hybrid backpack canopy is a lightweight, portable shade structure that is easy to carry and provides shade wherever you want to take it. Weighing in at a mere 15 lbs., the Go Hybrid can be effortlessly carried to the beach or the river, the park or the campground, the soccer field or the stadium. The canopy can be set up and taken down by one person, and folds into a durable backpack-style storage bag that takes up less than one cubic foot of space. Canopy includes one half-wall panel for more angled shade protection, and mesh eaves for wind flow. Backpack includes extra pockets to store and carry sunscreen, water bottles, car keys, etc.

Nice idea

I was looking for a canopy to use with my small hatchback car when setting up my scuba gear. This one is perfect because it fits into a parking space along with my car! The rear "wall" fits over the hatchback door and attaches to it with velcro. I'm not sure how sturdy it is - have only used it twice so far and it seems like it might wear out quickly. But the design is great - small, easy to carry and set up. Only really drawback is it's not very tall, which is fine for me because I'm short, but anyone taller than a little over 5 feet probably can't stand up under this canopy.

I've owned them all and this is my favorite by far!!!

I've owned quik shade canopies for years, from 8'-12', for personal & business use. Of all the canopies I've owned, this is my favorite! This year I purchased a Sportbrella before finding this canopy. I took both to the beach. The Sportbrella was very long and impractical when not being used. It was horrible to set up in the sand, was either too short in umbrella mode (the $6.98 beach umbrellas work better) or was too hard to figure out what pole length would work for the dome set up (it would go too far into the ground and the dome height would be very short) and was very affected by placement (which could mean to avoid wind you had to face the sun). This GO canopy fit in the car better, was easier to carry, set up in seconds and offered a much nicer, larger footprint. I relaxed watching others struggle with their Sportbrellas (literally... those things were everywhere). I even had several people come ask about my GO canopy and I was more than excited to share my experience. I would have given it a perfect rating except that the backpack the canopy comes in is coming apart at the top seam. I was going to exchange it at the store but all six that they had were coming apart at the same place. It doesn't look like it will affect performance or is enough of a con to keep me away from this canopy. In fact, I'm headed out tomorrow to pick up another one (it's a seasonal item at the only local store that carries them and they say they only get them once a year). Now that I've experienced this portable, easy set up and take down canopy, I wouldn't be able to live without it should something happen to it before next season. Overall a great, well priced and well engineered product! (obviously rated for personal use)

Easy to set up and use, I used larger ones and it was always hassle. This unit is what I was wishing for. Great job quick shade
